Hi everyone!
My name is Avery and I’m the freelance poet / creative behind Muse de Rue Writing. I’ve been writing since I was about nine years old and have never looked back. Always trying to keep my eyes open, I find inspiration in nature, faith, travel, and the people around me.

Starting this adventure in January 2022, I have since published several writings and have written scores of commissioned poems for people just like you.
Often inspired by writers before me, some of my favorites are J.R.R. Tolkien, Seamus Heaney, Sylvia Plath, Guillaume Apollinaire, Gerard Manley Hopkins, and Margaret Atwood.
